Our brand new state of the art facility located in Peakhurst West provides long day care and preschool. Our tailored designed centres allow us to have age-specific rooms that cater for each age group’s developmental needs.
Purpose built to enhance and engage young learners; Peakhurst West uses the Montessori approach to education founded by Dr Maria Montessori. Every area of the centre has been custom designed to encompass our curriculum. We aim to develop knowledge and skills that provide the foundation of a lifelong love for learning.
Early Learning Centre Peakhurst West
Our core Montessori curriculum covers areas such as practical life skills, sensory development, literacy and numeracy, science, geography and art. These areas provide the best foundation as students prepare for their transition to school. To support our Montessori learning, we also follow the EYLF to enhance and to provide a holistic learning experience for each child.
Children ages three-six are provided with an extensive school readiness program. The preschool room is fitted with an interactive whiteboard, school based activities and computers to assist with preparation for school.
As part of the Montessori philosophy, our centre is passionate about sustainability and this is embedded in our program. We encourage nature play, growing and caring for the vegetable garden, collecting eggs from the chickens, learning about recycling and caring for the world around us.

Meet Our Centre Manager
My name is Cindy and I am the Centre Manager at Peakhurst West. I have over 20 year's experience in the Early Learning sector. Over the years I have held many roles such as being a lead educator, centre manager and operations manager. I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and a Cert IV in Leadership and Management. I am also working towards completing my Bachelor of Teaching. I love engaging the children in fun learning experiences and my biggest passion is having the opportunity to watch the children grow, learn and flourish. St George Montessori Peakhurst West is a small and cozy centre, where we are passionate about creating a home-like environment.
