We have been a trusted centre in the community for 15 years. Our certified educators are well-versed in creating a warm and inviting environment that engages with each child.
We are conveniently located in Engadine on Woronora Road, just off the Princes Highway. Recently updated, our Engadine Early Learning Centre uses the Montessori approach to education founded by Dr Maria Montessori. Every area of the centre has been thought out to encompass this curriculum and to develop knowledge and skills that provides the foundation of a lifelong love for learning.
Our core Montessori curriculum covers areas such as practical life skills, sensory development, literacy and numeracy, science, geography and art. These areas provide the best foundation as students prepare for their transition to school. To support our Montessori learning, our early learning centre in Engadine also follow the EYLF to enhance and to provide a holistic learning experience for each child.
Children ages three-six are provided with an extensive school readiness program. The preschool room is fitted with an interactive whiteboard, school based activities and computers to assist with preparation for school. Our kindergarten curriculum is based on play based learning, that allows children through their smooth transition.
As part of the Montessori philosophy, our childcare centre in Engadine is passionate about sustainability and this is embedded in our program. We encourage nature play, growing and caring for the vegetable garden, collecting eggs from the chickens, learning about recycling and caring for the world around us.
The combination of our curriculum, facilities and passionate team set us apart from our competitors. We provide a holistic approach to your child’s education by combining the Montessori curriculum with the Early Years Learning Framework 2.0 (EYLF) and National quality standards. We also provide nature play and a sustainability program that includes environmentally focused playgrounds, chickens, vegetable gardens and compost programs.
Our extracurricular activities vary at each centre subject to children’s interests but could include Happy Feet, Soccer Joeys, language classes, dance classes and Munch and Move. All our centres provide healthy nutritious meals, prepared onsite by our centre cooks. We also take pride in winning the 2018 St George Local Business Awards and being a finalist in 2019. To view our opening times and information about our specific centres, please see our location page. To assist families with fees, all our centres are eligible for the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy. Your child’s journey begins here!
