Summer School Holidays Guide

We can’t believe the summer school holidays are already here!

We thought it would be nice to provide you with a guide of fun, age appropriate activities for your little ones because we know it can be hard finding ways to keep your little ones entertained. 

So, if you’re stuck for ideas on how to keep the family entertained this summer, keep reading! 

Summer Activities

Inflatable World

If you feel like your kids are jumping off the walls at home, take them to Inflatable World and let them have all the fun in the world bouncing around! 

  • When: Mon-Fri 10-2pm and Saturday and Sunday 10-2:30pm

Oli's Cafe 

This cafe in Miranda is the perfect place to take your kids for a nice, kid friendly lunch. They have amazing food and a beautiful interior too!

  • When: Mon-Sun 7am-2pm 
  • Where: 103 Miranda Rd, Miranda NSW 2228
  • Cost: prices are around $20 for meals

Summer Reading Challenge Launch

If you have older children who love books, this would be a great experience for them!

Visit Hurstville library throughout the school holidays for the launch of their summer reading challenge! 

  • When: Thursday December 1
  • Where: Corner Queens Road and Dora Street, Hurstville.
  • Cost: free

Magic of Christmas

Magic of Christmas is an amazing event that is back this year! Everyone is invited to have a picnic in Carss Park and celebrate Christmas! 

  • When: Saturday 3rd December
  • Where: Carss Bush Park, Carwar Avenue, Carss Park. 
  • Cost: free

Christmas Concert

Everyone is welcome to attend the Christmas concert in Kogarah and enjoy Kogarah Concert Band’s live performances of iconic Christmas music!

  • When: 5 December 2022
  • Where: Clive James Library and Service Centre Kogarah Town Square, Belgrave Street, Kogarah
  • Cost: free
