Choosing the Right Early Learning Centre for your Child

Hi parents, it's nearing that time of the year again when enrolments are opening for the following year. Keeping this in mind, we thought it would be a good idea to provide you with tips on how to choose the best early learning centre for your child. Keep reading for more info:

  • Finding out which centres are close to your house: you will want somewhere close to home so it is convenient for you to do drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Researching centre’s values and beliefs: you want to choose a centre that aligns with your family's beliefs, values and goals
  • Reading Google reviews about the centres: this is important to see other perspectives on the early learning centre
  • Understanding the type of curriculum the centres follow: depending on what early learning experience you want for your child, it is worthwhile researching the curriculums of each centre you are interested in as some centres are more academic based while others are play based
  • Enquiring about what is included in the daily rate: this is to ensure you are not selling yourself short and can get the most value out of the early learning centre
  • Booking a tour with different centres: you can do all the research. you want, but there is nothing like physically going to a centre, seeing their facilities and meeting staff members and educators who could potentially be looking after your child

Finally, after all of this, you can evaluate which centre fits your child and their personality best!
